Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith Divorced
Celebrity divorce again adorn the Hollywood media. This time, the senior actor Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith decided to end their marriage.
On Friday (06/06/2014) Melanie filed for divorce in Los Angeles court. This was disclosed in a statement by both parties.
"We have agreed seriously and decided to end the marriage that has been nurtured for almost 20 years in a way that is full of love and peace, to respect and appreciate each other, family and friends and the wonderful time we had been through together," said the statement quoted by Reuters (08/06/2014).
In its claim, the actress who played in the movie 'Crazy in Alabama' is asking for custody of her daughter, Stella, who turns 18 in September. But she did not forbid Antonio to visit his daughter.
Not only that, Melanie also demanded financial support from her ex-husband after they divorced.
Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas met on the set of the movie 'Two Much' and fall in love. Both were later married in May 1996 and were blessed with one child.
